New Things Incoming
This blog exists basically since 2015 and it has been a while since I actually posted something. One of the reasons is that finding a topic to write about and then often when writing about food taking pictures that look fine on the internet takes more effort than it is probably worth.
So taking inspiration from the Ideas in Food blog, there are going to be more post coming. Some are just dumping ideas and experiments with hopefully more in-depth articles sprinkled in occasionally. The goal of this series is to publish the stuff I've been up to over the last years. From experiments and their (successful) results, over interesting finds to ideas. I see this also as a challenge to get back into writing more regularly.
It feels like a lot of cooking content has moved to social media and discoverability has become noticeably worse (looking at you Instagram). Which is unfortunate as probably more people ever are trying new things. It is still fun to read old blogs still online around the molecular gastronomy and personal blog time, unfortunately most of them are abandoned and knowledge is getting lost. Let's see how this journey to document my ideas will go.
Related to that, I'm going to reduce the old posts to things that might still be interesting to keep around.
